Discovery Phase

The 30-day deep dive includes a Nutrition Consultation with a nutritionist, a Goal Setting Session with your very own health coach, and a Functional Medicine Consultation with an Adapt180 Health™ practitioner. The Discovery Phase culminates in a dynamic, custom Five-Part Health Plan. (Note: this does not include fees for lab work or supplements, which vary from person to person.)

 

Transformation Phase

In the following 11 months, you’ll get a total of 15, one-on-one sessions with Adapt180-trained practitioners, nutritionists, health coaches, and fitness and mindfulness experts. Frequently Asked Questions

Can my Adapt180 Health practitioner be my primary care physician (PCP)? Can they take the place of my OB/GYN, ophthalmologist, cardiologist, etc.?
At Adapt180 Health, we focus on creating a health transformation by helping you prevent and reverse chronic symptoms and reclaim control over your health. We encourage all of our members to continue to have a PCP for urgent or acute situations.
Our future plans include having some specialists on staff; however, we encourage you to keep your specialists for now.
We recommend that our female patients maintain a relationship with an OB/GYN for regular Pap smears.

Does my Adapt180 Health practitioner provide urgent or acute care?
We are not an urgent care provider and are not available for same-day emergency appointments, and we can’t guarantee a same-day response to urgent questions. Our practitioners sometimes book out a week or more. If you have a medical emergency, we recommend that you visit urgent care or an emergency room.

Do I need health insurance if I have an Adapt180 Health membership?
An Adapt180 Health membership does not replace health insurance. We advise all members to maintain a separate health insurance plan.

Are the practitioners in-network with my insurance plan? Will you bill my insurance, including Medicare?
Our practitioners are, unfortunately, not in-network with any insurance plans, including Medicare.
Since we are not in-network, we cannot bill insurance for you. We will provide members with a superbill (including ICD-10 codes for diagnosis and CPT codes for services performed) to submit to their insurance for possible out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend that you call the member services number on the back of your insurance card and ask them what your out-of-network coverage is.
There are some labs, including LabCorp and Quest, that can bill your insurance directly for the tests that we recommend.

Can I use my FSA/HSA/HRA for my membership fees or other costs?
Yes, the fees/costs should be covered; however, we recommend that you check with your plan to confirm.

Are any supplements included in the initial or monthly fees?
Costs for recommended supplements are not included in the membership fee because every member will have different needs based on their personal 5-Part Health Plan.

Is testing (labwork) included in the initial or monthly fees?
Costs for blood work and specialty testing are not included in the membership fee because every member will have different needs based on their personal 5-Part Health Plan.

When will you be accepting international members?
We are excited to expand to include international members in the future. Right now, we are being careful to ensure that during the Beta launch we can provide a high level of service and personal attention to every client. Because of that, and because of the complexity of international regulations governing telehealth, we are not able to take international members. Please stay tuned for future announcements about this, however.

When will you be accepting people from Arkansas, Utah, and/or Washington DC?
We are excited to expand to include members from these states in the future. Right now, we are being careful to ensure that during the Beta launch we can provide a high level of service and personal attention to every client. Because of that, and because of the complexity of some state regulations governing telehealth, we are not able to take members in AR, UT, or DC, yet. Please stay tuned for future announcements about this, however.

Will you be requiring in-office appointments?
No, this service will be 100 percent virtual.

Do you have practitioners that treat Lyme, CIRS (mold illness), or autoimmunities?
Yes, our practitioners are very familiar with these illnesses and would be more than happy to work with you to get you feeling better!

Does Adapt180 Health accept children?
Yes, we accept children over the age of 2. In the scenario where the child is too young to participate by themselves in the membership services, the primary guardian will have access to and be encouraged to participate in the membership activities on behalf of the child. For any child who is 13 or older, we ask that they attend their appointments and they are encouraged to participate in the membership activities.

Does Adapt180 Health provide family discounts?
Yes, we provide a 10% discount off of the monthly membership fee to each member living within the same household.
 
Does Adapt180 Health offer a hardship policy?
We understand that our members can suffer from financial hardships from time to time and may need to temporarily pause their membership. If a member falls upon difficult times, they can request a hardship deferment and put their membership on hold for a maximum of 3 months. The member will need to request a renewal of this deferment each month during this deferment period. The member will be granted a single hardship deferment during the life of their membership. Since the membership will be on hold during this time, the member will be unable to use any of their available practitioner or support appointments during the deferment. Members are eligible for this deferment after their 3rd monthly payment.
